STEP 02:

WEBSITE PREP

Lay a solid foundation to your website by prepping with branding, images, and copy.

Logos/Brand Graphics in PNG or svg format

Brand fonts

Color Palette in hex code format

Your brand is the most important puzzle piece in your website prep puzzle. Refer to your template’s guide for pre-selected font details. You can keep these the same or change them to match your brand. For other fonts, peruse the free Google fonts loaded into Showit or purchase a unique font from Creative Market.

(Tip: Custom fonts need a .woff format for website use and can be uploaded to Showit, as described here.)

Prep your brand

Here's what you need:

→ Once you've gathered all of your brand materials, add your color and font details into your design settings.

Prep Your Images/Media

→ Upload your images and logos into your Media Library, as described here.

03.

Prepare your images for Showit. (Tip: Did you know that your images can rank in search engines and support your SEO growth? Refer to step 5 for more details.)

02.

Start by gathering a cohesive collection of JPEG (preferred) or PNG photos.

The Media Guide & Checklist

While images attract, copy will convert!

Good news! Your template was strategically built with copy prompts to thoughtfully guide you through your content creation. But, I get it...words are hard, and that’s why I’ve created this Bonus: Copy Guide to support you through your website writing process.

→ Write your words and then copy and paste them into your website template.
