Click Actions are Showit’s fancy way of setting links. Click actions are how people get from one place on your website to another.

With your template, basically all click actions are already set for you, but refer to this training if you want to learn more about changing or adding click actions – especially for your social media icons!

Understanding Canvas Views

Canvases are an amazing, interactive way to elevate your website design experience. Think of canvas views like a slideshow – where you can share information in “layers” in one section of your website. A great example of using canvas views is with testimonials.

Showit is extremely responsive and allows you to edit your mobile design separately for a unique experience. All my templates are already optimized for mobile, but if you’d like to make changes to your template, it’s still great to know how to customize both devices.

Embed codes are used when you need to connect an email marketing provider (like Flodesk) or a contact form (like Dubsado or Honeybook).

Adding a social grid to your website is a great way to encourage people to follow you on Instagram. Your template’s footer is set up to showcase your feed – it just needs you to connect you Instagram account. This can be done with the help of these directions.
